Moana Lodge
The rooms at the Moana Lodge are set in different buildings and on multiple levels. Although there is a range of options to choose from — including both standard and deluxe rooms and a handful of unique suites — most of the accommodations share several basic features. All are bright and spacious, with a modern design and a host of amenities. Each has a private hot water bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer, and the suites have even an outdoor rain shower. Air conditioning and ceiling fans ensures that the indoor areas remain cool, while wireless internet allows guests to stay connected with friends and family at home. What's more, each room has a private balcony equipped with comfortable seating — a perfect spot to watch the sun fade over the Pacific Ocean.
The free-form swimming pool centers the property. It's lit dramatically at night and adjoins a Jacuzzi. Huge almond trees stretch over poolside lounge chairs, providing guests with the opportunity to spot monkeys, birds and iguanas in the branches above. A self-service pool bar can quench any thirst that may arrive, while the Papaya Restaurant can satisfy hunger for both breakfast and lunch. This open-air restaurant has wonderful ocean views and meal options that change daily. Using only the freshest and finest of ingredients, the food is a fusion of Latin and international flavors. The nearby, well-stocked bar has three intimate lounge areas and a wide range of international spirits, beers and wines.
On the second floor of the main building is a TV lounge with a 42-inch plasma screen and hundred of movie titles to choose from. Any evening downtime can be spent enjoying a comedy, action or drama in this small, intimate environment. Further relaxation can be had with a massage. There is a range of massage treatments — including deep tissue, surf and Thai — that can be appreciated in either an outdoor rancho or your own room.
