Fuego Lodge
The apartment suites and penthouse are set within the Fuego Lodge's main building, a modern and attractive structure that's lined with a spiral staircase and topped with a red-tile roof. The rooms within this building have tile floors, teak wood accents, and spacious living quarters. There are both one-bedroom and two-bedroom options, most of which are set with comfortable queen size beds (which, as it may be, are occasionally spread with fresh rose petals). The indoor living room and outdoor balcony provide guests with a wonderful place to read or relax. The balconies are private and covered and come equipped with a hammock, table and chairs. Perhaps the best part of these suites is the full kitchen, which gives guests the option of storing and cooking food at home. In terms of entertainment, there is a cable TV, DVD player and reliable wireless internet.
Other than the main building, there are several poolside options. These lack a kitchen and living room but have huge windows and instant access to the hotel's large swimming pool. The swimming pool is clean and refreshing. It descends in a series of levels, which makes it ideal for sitting or playing with your kids. The owners of the Fuego Lodge are extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure that guests have a positive experience in Santa Teresa. Even better, the Fuego Lodge is centrally located—it's only 200 meters from the beach and is close to the shops and restaurants that dot the area.
