The White House and Villas

From: $0 USD

Both the White House and the White House Villas rest along the shores of Playa Hermosa. Both accommodations are modernly designed and are just steps away from this gorgeous grey-sand beach.

The White House and Villas

If first impressions are everything, the White House makes one heck of a showing. Walking up from the beach, guests will be amazed with the architectural beauty of this home. A white roof slants upwards in simple, sophisticated lines. Beneath this spreads a wall of windows, a plush master balcony, and an infinity-edge swimming pool. Yes, this home is both fabulous and luxurious—and a perfect place to unwind along the Nicoya Peninsula's renowned coastline.

As already stated, the house's ocean-facing side is virtually all windows. The home's kitchen – which is plentifully stocked with cooking devices – has sliding glass doors that open to reveal a direct ocean view. The same goes for the living room, which has comfortable couches and a huge arched ceiling. It's easy to lounge either indoors or outside on the deck while staying here. The large deck is stocked with lounge chairs and shade umbrellas and overlooks the infinity-edge swimming pool. Cooling off at the pool offers a great alternative to a swim in the ocean. If guests are feeling energetic, they can organize a game on the volleyball court, which is nestled right alongside the pool.

The White House can sleep eight people. The master bedroom – the only bedroom on the top floor – enjoys a king size bed and private balcony. It also has its own hot water bathroom. Beneath this bedroom, on the first floor, are two other rooms. One has a queen size bed and the other has two single beds. Oftentimes maids will leave fresh flowers scattered across the pillow and bedspread.

The White House Villas offer a smaller – though no less impressive – alternative to the house. The two villas are set behind the main house and are designed in a similar vein. Each two-story villa has ocean-facing windows and two large decks. The downstairs is composed of a kitchen, living room and bedroom. The kitchens are ample and come stocked with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and water dispenser. A charcoal BBQ can be arranged upon request.

The living room is simply decorated and set with two comfortable couches. As with the larger house, sliding glass doors open onto the deck area, which gets a good amount of sunlight during the afternoon. The bottom floor bedroom has two twin size beds, which can either be used separately or pushed together for couples. A private bathroom attached to the room leads to an outdoor shower area – a great spot for refreshing, open-air bathing. Just outside this room is a floating staircase that heads to the master bedroom upstairs. This bedroom has polished cement floors, a queen size bed, and private hot water bathroom. A terrace extends the room outdoors and offers up partial views of the Pacific Ocean.

Both the White House and the Villas are set next to the Pranamar Yoga Resort, which allows guests to easily enroll in yoga, Pilates, or other classes. What's more, a chef and childcare can be arranged as needed.
